Murgia e Mangia was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to tell the story of our land through its products.
We grew up among the white country roads that fade into centuries-old olive groves, among the pastures of traditional farmhouses, and the aromas of kitchens where simple, genuine dishes were prepared — the kind from the past.
The Murgia is not just a plateau of stone and sun.
It is an ancient and generous land, capable of offering intense treasures: rich green extra virgin olive oil, warm and aromatic wines, cheeses aged in caves, golden honey scented with wildflowers, and ancient legumes that have nourished generations.
This is where Murgia e Mangia begins.

We carefully selected the best small local producers — those who honor tradition while embracing innovation without betraying it.

A choice of love
Our project was born over a glass of red wine, in an old country farmyard. We chatted with the village elders, listening to stories of harvests, grape harvests, and village festivals. There, we realized that this heritage couldn't remain hidden within the confines of the Murgia. We wanted to bring the true flavors of our land to the homes of those who appreciate quality, authenticity, and the history behind every product.
From that idea, Murgia e Mangia was born: an online shop, but first and foremost a cultural project. We don't just sell products, but we also tell the story of our land, its ancient traditions, its festivals, and its seasons.
